Access (Unit) Data

With the recent "Account" feature released (see Release UP-29-22), the way to access unit data has changed. You can read the full article on Accounts here.

Before, as an admin, you could open the Bento menu and click on "Data" to access the list of master brands, this is not the case anymore.

We’ve also renamed “Unit” to “Data” for consistency with the “Data” menu section at website level. This “Data” icon is still accessible from the Galaxy top-left Bento menu, however, you’ll have to have first selected an Account for this icon to become active/clickable. This means that the Data section will always be in-context of the Account. It's no longer possible to access All Data like before, you will always enter the Data of a specific Account. Master Brand creation is now done at Account level.

If you are in an old environment, and the data is not mapped correctly, please contact us with the issue so we can evaluate what can be done.

Here is some info

  • an already existing Master Brand without an account can not be added to an Account. This is only doable in DB by xo7 and is very exceptional

  • an already existing website without an account can not be added to an Account. This is only doable in DB by xo7 and is very exceptional

Old dev environments without Account mapping

In the old dev environments, the data is sometimes not linked properly to websites, and it prevents you from accessing the data properly.

You can spot this by looking at the header, if the "Account" shows the name of an account

Account is empty in the header, indicating that the data is corrupted

In this case, if you need in your dev environment to edit master brand data (for example, the list of amenities), there is a way to "cheat".

This should only be done on your dev environment to unblock you.

1 - Follow documentation to:Create new environment in the backoffice

Create a new environment master_item

Use master_item for "name" and "cle". For the description, you can put anything.

2 - Edit your user (admin view)

Bento menu > Admin > Admin (sidebar) > User

Use the search to find your user

Scroll to the section "Configuration", and in the field "Environment", add master_item and save

With this environment added to your user, you will be able to see the Master Brand in the sidebar of all websites.
