Page Slug options (advanced)

Be careful when using this feature, it should only be used in very specific cases.

By default, when creating a new page:

• the page name will be using the template label

• the page slug will be using the page name

Sometimes, you might want to have a default page slug that is different from the page template label. For example, here the page template label is "IBE - Dates of stay".

This will only apply to the language used when creating the page, you need to use the "lock" feature alongside to ensure the same slug on all languages.

If you use the "page slug lock" feature, make sure to also check "Page unique", to avoid taking the risk of having twice the page page created.

• There is no validation on Testeur side for the slug, so make sure to double test when creating a page that everything goes well.

• If you use page slug lock and another page has exactly the same parent and slug, it will be complicated

Prefill SEO Sections when creating a new page

For each template, if you define default values for SEO variables, it will prefill SEO fields of the page created from this template.

Changes are not retroactive. Changes made from the testeur will be apply for new pages only, not for existing pages

Known issues

• Screenshot preview for pages doesn't display on Testeur (it will displays correctly on your website BO)
